ONA METHOD LLC
Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms describe the booking and service policies of ONA METHOD LLC (“ONA Method”). Questions may be directed to laura@onamethod.com.

Our services

ONA Method provides personalized, coach-led, in-home Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) fitness training. Sessions include equipment setup, individual calibration, a focused workout, and approximately five minutes of stretching and breathing.

The 20-minute workout does not represent the total appointment time. Please allow additional time for setup, screening and preparation.

ONA Method provides fitness instruction, not medical diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation. Individual experiences and results vary.

Appointment requests and confirmation

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve an appointment. Appointments are arranged directly with ONA Method, subject to availability and confirmation of the service location.

Payment is due when the appointment is confirmed. ONA Method will provide the agreed date, time, location, price and payment instructions in writing.

Pricing and payment

The applicable price and any additional charges will be disclosed before payment. Any applicable taxes will also be identified before payment.

For prepaid packages, each completed appointment deducts one session from the client’s available balance. Clients will not be charged both a package credit and the full cash price for the same session.

Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

Clients may cancel or request to reschedule without charge by providing at least 12 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment.

Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours’ notice, and appointments missed without notice, are charged at the full agreed session price. For package clients, one session will be deducted from the package instead of a separate session charge.

Please send cancellation or rescheduling requests through the communication channel used to confirm your appointment. Notice is measured from the time the message is received.

If a client arrives late or is not ready at the agreed time, the session may be shortened to avoid delaying subsequent appointments. The agreed session price remains payable.

If ONA Method cancels an appointment, the client may choose to reschedule or receive a refund of the payment for that appointment. For package bookings, the session credit will be restored.

Session packages, refunds and transfers

Session packages do not expire. All session and package purchases are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Packages and individual session credits may be used only by the client named at purchase and cannot be transferred, shared or reassigned to another person.

Unused sessions remain available for future booking, subject to appointment availability and these terms. “No expiration” does not guarantee a particular appointment time, trainer or uninterrupted availability of services.

If ONA Method cancels an appointment, the cancellation provisions above apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Service locations and home access

ONA Method accepts appointment requests throughout New York City, without a general neighborhood restriction. Each appointment remains subject to trainer availability, travel feasibility, suitable premises and written confirmation.

Any transportation, parking, building-access or other location-related charge must be disclosed and agreed upon before payment. No undisclosed travel charge will be added after confirmation.

Clients are responsible for arranging building access and providing a clear, safe space suitable for the equipment and guided movement. Please communicate stairs, elevator restrictions, access procedures or other relevant details when requesting an appointment.

Children and pets must be kept safely away from the equipment and training area. ONA Method does not provide childcare.

If access or conditions prevent the appointment from proceeding safely, ONA Method will explain the issue and discuss the appropriate next step. Any charge will be handled under the agreed booking terms and applicable law.

Health screening and participation

Before the first session, clients must complete ONA Method’s health questionnaire and informed-consent process. ONA Method will arrange this directly before participation.

Clients must provide accurate information relevant to participation and notify their trainer of changes in health, medication, pregnancy status, injuries, recent procedures or other circumstances that could affect training suitability.

Completion of a questionnaire does not guarantee eligibility for EMS training. ONA Method may postpone or decline a session where screening requirements are not met, medical clearance is required, or participation would be inconsistent with equipment instructions or the trainer’s professional scope.

Clients must promptly tell their trainer about discomfort or unusual symptoms and may ask to reduce intensity or stop a session at any time.

The questionnaire and any separate participation agreement will explain relevant screening and risk information. These website terms do not replace that process.

When should you avoid EMS?

EMS is not suitable for everyone.

  • Do not train during pregnancy, with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, or with epilepsy.
  • Postpone training during an acute infection or fever. Electrodes must not be applied over wounds, burns, inflamed skin or unhealed injuries, or to the front or sides of the neck.
  • Medical assessment is required for neurological conditions, hemophilia or bleeding disorders, heart disease, serious circulatory problems, blood clots or a history of thrombosis, abdominal or inguinal hernias, or diastasis recti.
  • Diabetes and high blood pressure require individual assessment and may limit participation.

Inform ONA Method of relevant medical conditions, medications, recent surgery and health changes before training. This list is not exhaustive. Medical clearance does not override the equipment manufacturer’s restrictions.

Equipment and client conduct

ONA Method supplies and operates the EMS equipment used during the session. Clients must follow the trainer’s instructions and must not independently adjust or operate the equipment.

ONA Method may stop a session if the environment or a participant’s conduct makes it unsafe to continue.

Personal information and photography

Information about how personal details and health-screening information are handled will be made available before collection. Please do not submit sensitive health information through the general website contact form.

Photographs, videos or testimonials will not be used for marketing without separate permission. Permission is optional and is not a condition of receiving training.

Rights and questions

These terms do not exclude liability or waive rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

Material policy changes will be communicated before they apply to future bookings. Changes will not retroactively reduce the stated no-expiration benefit of an existing package.
